My favorites are Drood, The Terror, Song of Kali, and Hyperion.
He also has a post-war (or actually mid-war) novel called *The Terror* that has sort of a weak conclusion but is mostly a really neat and fun horror mystery.
Took me four tries to finish The Terror. Felt very slow in the middle and kept losing me. I didn’t mind the historical fiction aspect to the story. Found that interesting. Also the ending didn’t seem to work for me either.
