The Order: 1886

Pros

• I felt like it was a decent first game. Short, but had the underpinnings that could have possibly lead to something like Uncharted 1 -> 2.
• Fun game. Has one of the best weapons ever in a game for me, the thermite rifle.
• I really liked the game

Cons

• The game had a lot of problems, despite having a lot of style, but the order was a sign that they had potential with creating IP.
• I liked elements of the game and think it has a lot of visual style, but them blatantly trying to set up a franchise at the expense of telling a satisfying narrative was really annoying.
• most people would still wait for a sale because one of the main complaints at the time was that it was a game that could be completed in 4-5 hours.
• Gameplay was certainly an issue but I do think an identical product would be more well received now
• The gall for them to have a game set in a world where werewolves and vampires exist and have next to no combat encounters with them in the game, and the ones that are there are mostly quick time based. What a shame.
