The Odyssey

Pros
- The 6 min prologue trailer before Avatar was awesome.
- Yeah that scene was god damn intense. I've read the Odyssey and I thought "I'm skeptical how this could be made into something that will match Nolan's other work". Then I saw the scene before Avatar in IMAX. I'm already sold
- We got to see a full 5 minute scene of this movie before Avatar in IMAX. It was peak cinema. This movie is going to be absolutely insane.
- The storm scene on the ship is definitely going to look incredible in theaters
- The Odyssey is actually a blast to drive and the Sienna with its hybrid powertrain is very fuel efficient. Unfortunately you can't have both (I have an Odyssey), but either one will be solidly reliable for years to come.
Cons
- Who on earth designed the costumes for this movie? It doesn't even look remotely Ancient Greek, and Mycenaean is out of the question.
- if we’re considering the classic epics to be Homer’s Odyssey, Vergil’s Aeneid, etc.
- Each Frame is so damn dark. Just why
- Tbh, I just don't get how you get fit this story into a single movie? If anything could be a trilogy or a part 1 & 2, it's The Odyssey.
- Not digging the costumes at all, looks like a poor man's game of thrones

I wish Hollywood would have the balls to actually go for some historically accurate costumes, rather than doubling down on the "Hollywood" aesthetic of Greek/Roman appearances. If there was any director that could get away with it, it'd have been Nolan. Disappointing tbh.
