Pros
- I just played ocarina of time again, it shockingly holds up too!!
- OOT is a masterpiece that has to be played on a high-end home setup.
- The game itself is still very good, despite the dated mechanics.
- On a technical level, basically everything in this game is, if nothing else, *fine.* It controls well, looks nice, sounds perfectly good with good music and sound effects, it is a solidly put together game.
- You should do Ocarina of Time before Majora’s Mask. OoT is the superior game
Cons
- I remember playing a demo of Ocarina of Time at a store once where people had gotten up to a part in the Forest Temple which requires you to shoot an arrow at an eye to progress, but for whatever reason, Link had no arrows left and playi...
- I never felt that music as theme/gameplay was all that developed in Ocarina of Time. The titular macguffin is only ever used twice in the story, and most of the songs you learn in OoT never need to be used more than once, if at all (Zeld...
- Parent context: Every Zelda game I’ve played has made me feel like a dumbass. Ocarina of Time wasn’t so bad though, and if you do hit a wall, there is a built-in hint system. Reply: I did get walled in that game, because I didn't realize...

Ocarina of Time finally clicked for me. The narrative, soundtrack, and level design are sublime and easily compete with any modern game.
Loved ocarina of time
