The Last Ship

Pros

• The Last Ship: This is technically a dystopian sci-fi, but hear me out... It's not super sci-fi-y but it's got great political drama and great acting, so I think it might be worth a try!
• I'd doesn't bore you, it's good I watched during Pandemic.
• I liked it. As with any high-concept show it weakened the longer it ran as they ran out of plot and budget but all in all worth a watch
• Yes, the first two seasons are really good. I loved Rhona Mitra and Eric Dane and also the story: raging plague, a Herculean Arleigh Burke-class destroyer around the world with a strapping crew and amazing acting from all. Go for it.

Cons

• I hated how they got rid of one great character and the seasons were all over. Also Gringed how they made the main character such a "legend" haha. But overall it was an enjoyable series.
• Loved the first 3 seasons! 4th was okay and 5th was not to my taste, but I wouldn't say it sucked.
• It gets a bit cheesy
• Worth watching, but it’s inconsistent throughout. Manage expectations.
• I really enjoyed it's first few seasons, then it got weaker, then it got bad.
