• The Incandescent by Emily Tesh: fully delivered on the “magic school from a teacher’s POV” premise. This was a lot of fun.
• The Grimoire Grammar Parent Teacher Association by Caitlin Rozakis and The Incadescent by Emily Tesh were both fun twists on the magic school
• The incandescent by Emily Tesh has romance elements although it also not high fantasy and has a lot else going on. It's good enough that I'll recommend it
• this was a very readable book that felt incredibly real for a private school that teaches magic in the English countryside. ... It was definitely fun to get a magic school story from a teacher’s perspective
