The Heroes

I love the scene in the heroes where it moves from one combatant to another to another.

The Heroes is probably my favorite fantasy book of all time.

I really liked the fights in Cradle, Mistborn Trilogy, The Heroes, and the final book of Wheel of Time (which is the longest fight scene I have ever read).

Best Served Cold and The Heroes both have amazing fight scenes.

The Heroes - You dont always need an epic quest to write an epic story. The use of POV is this story in phenomenal.

I've loved all his books with a particular fondness for The Heroes.

I can’t recommend the books after the first law enough though (especially Best served cold and the Hero’s) they are effectively stand alone books (with some characters with ties to the main story) and they are incredible.

I got the same “in the trenches” feel from Joe Abercrombie’s “The Heroes” (book 5 in The First Law series).

The greatest midevil charge is in the Heroes when the characters change POV as Black Dow initially takes the hill on day one.
