I have not read the book, but just keeping the four agreements in mind has made an amazing difference in my life.
So, the book is trite; mass produced new age advice. Read it if you want, but it’s not worth your time. It’s not groundbreaking to say be honest, be kind, work hard, try your best. ... It really is a terrible, easy to poke holes in, book about child-like maxims that are not really true, nor provable, in real life.

I finished it and while there was initially a small amount of stuff that sounded somewhat reasonable since I think positive/negative thoughts can affect your mood, it was bizarre and I hated it. Pretty sure the whole rest of it talked about “magic”.
