• Erik Larson is not only a good non-fiction writer, he’s one of the best writers putting out new material. Isaac’s Storm, Devil in the White City, and In the Garden of Beasts are his best.
• I loved Devil in the White City - thought it was really well written and fascinating
• Great read about the 1893 World’s Fair, along with the serial killer that used the fair to hunt victims.
• Devil in the White City is phenomenal, but the rest are solid too, and he has a fairly wide variety of topics to choose from.

• Devil in the White City by Erik Larson. It's historical fiction but written in a novelistic style and covers H. H. Holmes, a guy who killed a bunch of people in his murder castle during the 1893 World's Fair in Chicago.
