I've read this and The Deep, and I'm done with this weird author. Dude has a boner for VERY graphic/violently-described animal torture.
I was going to get “The Deep,” but I heard one of the dog characters suffers a gruesome death, and after losing two of my own dogs from cancer and having to watch them suffer, I didn’t think I can read something like that, just for right now.
