• I enjoyed book one, but if you didn’t, then your probably not going to like 2 and 3
• Loved the first book with its twists and the direction it was going, wanted to see a lot more of the world and the idea of whether the Library is a good or bad thing.

Cons

• I enjoyed the trilogy but didn't love it. It was ambitious and full of ideas and I think he's vastly underrated as an actual writer. He can write a clever sentence with the best of them but it just didn't quite work for me as a story.
• If that's how you feel now, don't read book 2 and 3 as that specific problem gets worse and worse
• one of the other cross-breed relationships I felt was fairly forced and not natural. There were a few places where the rules of the universe weren't well explained or didn't seem to make sense. Those were my biggest gripes in the latter...
