The Americans

The Americans has the best series finale I’ve ever seen. The whole show I kept thinking “how can this possibly end in a satisfactory way??” and then the way it did was just so phenomenally perfect and avoided every cliche I worried it might fall into. Every character had an ending that felt completely necessary, even if it was inevitably heartbreaking.

You definitely should! Both he and Keri Russell are phenomenal.

Matthew Rhys is such a great actor. In both this and The Americans, he’s so good at the “nice guy quickly turned terrifying.”

The Americans had a few spots where it dragged a bit. But overall, it's top tier. And it had the best series finale I have ever seen. It stuck the landing like nothing else. THAT was a masterpiece and totally worth the ride.
