Cons
- Worst: 1. The Alchemist - Paulo Coelho ... This was so pretentious, snobby and downright pathetic that I would fist-fight Coelho if I ever saw him.

Parent context: Midnight Library follows Nora Seed, a 32-year-old woman who feels trapped in a mundane life and contemplates suicide. Instead of dying, she wakes up in the Midnight Library, a place between life and death where she can explore alternate lives through books. Guided by her childhood librarian, Mrs. Elm, Nora tries out different versions of herself, including an Olympic swimmer and a rockstar. Reply: This is only an existential or philosophical book if you liked “The Alchemist”.
