The extra damping is one of the main things that intrigues me about the Tessidera. The Caldera (Open) defers most damping to the back via the ADS, and it acoustically feels very open despite that. There's only the slightest tinge of passive attenuation if you really pay attention.

Definitely sits higher in their stack in terms of resolution, definitely above all the zmf dynamics, haven't had enough A/B time with caldera tho. Still has the zmf house traits of warmth, however, it did sound like there might've been a bit too much damping on it. It had this tactile slap at the end of bass notes which was kind of interesting.
Have demoed all current ZMF models including the new Tessidera this past weekend and the Bokeh is the one I like most. Ymmv
