I think Tenerife is perfect for me because its only place thats giving summer vibes and many young people are there.
You don’t need to switch places at all since every single place on the island is easily reachable via car and even via bus (you can go from Arona to Santa Cruz even with bus).
Also been to Tenerife and that was even better. The hikes around Teide National Park are spectacular - I mean it's the tallest mountain in Spain.
In Tenerife we stayed at Airbnbs so don't have any recommendations there. I would just avoid staying in Playa de las Americas and Los Cristianos.
Lanzarote or Tenerife might suit you.

Of the Canary Islands I would recommend Gran Canaria. Nicer scenery and bit more of an authentic feel than Lanzarote, Tenerife and Fuerteventura.

I am in spain right now, 2 nights in barcelona, 2 nights in madrid (train transfer), tenerife 4 nights, malaga -> granada -> valencia -> Barcelona via car.
I went last year to Tenerife and it was still pretty cold in May. You could swim but it was chilly
