Cons

• Parent context: Really? Why? My friends got a sonata I think there is nothing wrong with it. Reply: Google it dude. They blow their engines by 100k miles.
• Also avoid these cars in cheap, german, camry 2007-2010, sonata and optima, these have engine problems
• NO, these Sonatas had the Theta 2 engine which is hot dogshit. It WILL spin bearings and you WILL have to fight Hyundai for a free replacement that they owe everyone who bought one of these piles
• His sonata gets a jerk while it's changing the gear during speeding or slowing down. He changed his engine twice now but some Sonatao has it.
• My friend has a sonata, It keeps getting issues every now and then. Now he's planning to sell.
