- Favorite vaca was pre kids, we went to telluride CO, scenery was unbeatable, food and drinks were amazing, beside the shuttle there we walked everywhere, there was local things to do in town that kept us busy since we don't do snow sports.
- From there, I would go to Rocky Mountain National Park, Colorado Springs, make your way down to Silverton, Ouray, Mesa Verde (get tickets), Telluride, etc. This area of SW Colorado is very cool and close to Utah.
- Telluride has a free gondola that goes from the mountain to town! Great restaurants and shopping. Hike the ski area.
- Black Canyon of the Gunnison or if you go a little west of Denver Vail is a beautiful village. There is also Aspen, but Telluride is spectacular.
- You could do Ouray and Telluride together for a shorter travel time.
