Take 5

Pros

• Sold my Minilogue (OG not XD) to fund a Take 5 purchase. No ragretz
• I have a TEO-5 and the Take 5 and a lot of patches on the two of them I can make sounds almost identical, but there is enough difference in thr filters and envelopes for me to still love them both in the context of my music.
• I own a Take 5 it has become my go to synth for 2 years now. ... IMO both are the best beginner synths for the money and well worth the price tag.
• I have a Take 5 and love it to death
• Currently have a Take 5 as my main analog polysynth. It’s one of the best synths I’ve owned. It’s naturally musical sounding, and has an inspiring workflow.

Cons

• You mention the TEO5 and Take 5: just in recent days I oggled both of those really hard
• I looked at the 5 series! Didn’t like the sound of the TEO, and the take 5 seems close to what I like but not sure if I want the inherent brassy-ness of the synth
• It sounds like you’re describing the Take 5, not the Rev2.
• If money were no option I’d love to add a take 5 to my setup, but it is pretty big and expensive. I don’t think that it would be a couch synth for me
