• Sveshnikov: sound, Very positional, can be aggressive And Blacks king is often quite safe.
• The najdorf and the sveshnikov are both very sharp and very sound.
• Sveshnikov - super fun when you get something that isn't a Rossolimo.

Cons

• Sveshnikov is of course quite strong objectively, but again 1: we have the Rossolimo to deal with and 2: White has multiple annoying options in the Open. ... The 7.Nd5 structures also feel like Black is just long-term a bit depressingly...
• Sveshnikov problem: the Rossolimo. I play it as White and understand those positions a bit. I'm not ready to study the Sveshnikov just to get hit with Bb5. I wanted for a long time to make it work as Black. But I just cannot learn to lov...
• My default answer would be "not the Najdorf, Sveshnikov, or Dragon" but you know, that's for me.
• Bb5 against 2. Nc6 (Rossolimo) is the mainline anyway, and is a better try at an advantage than going into the Sveshnikov.
