The sv650 is a legend. It was my first bike in 2004. I put 20k miles on it, track days, commuting, riding with friends. I miss that bike.

The book that comes closest to House of Leaves as far as I know is S., by J.J. Abrams and Doug Dorst; it takes the form of a library fiction book with an extensive amount of notes from two different people.

S by Doug Dorst and JJ Abrams is similar. It's not really horror, but it's got something similar going on. It's a sort of book within a book where two characters leave messages for each other in book margins.

There are some that do this and have different bits and bobs in the physical book itself - like S by JJ Abrams.

Something like an SV650 can run a set of tires for half a season.

After the CX my daily was a SV650, which by that point I was putting about 15k miles/year on the bike
