Pros

  • I feel like adapting sushi go would be simple no?
  • Today I introduced my two cousins (8 and 12) to Sushi Go. I wasn’t sure how it’d be received or if they would get overwhelmed with the different card scoring modes... But it was a great success and begged to keep on playing.
  • From what I see I have Sushi Go, Wingspan and Heat, great games.
  • Sushi Go and Go Nuts for Donuts (either one) is great for learning that there are multiple ways to score, and you need to think about what the other players are doing.
  • Sushi Go!, No Thanks, and Trio are some other light small box games.

Cons

  • Sushi Go is very good but is a little 'too' simple (Just going for points).
  • sushi go is not a party game but asocial MPS euro (light one though)

Co-workers LOVE Sushi Go for lunch break. It’s quick for the 30 minutes we have after eating, and has a small enough table space to fit our pantry tables.

Parent context: Sushi Go is basically Drafting: The Game. It plays quickly, and is easy to teach, with plenty of strategy for hard core gamers. Reply: At two players it is some of the best hate drafting I have experienced!
