But neither is the Supermicro immediately below it, so that's not a problem.

The quality of the hardware is easily on par with the other major players but their IPMI software implementation isn’t as good. Still very, very usable though. Just be warned their 1U stuff is loud as hell. 2U has some silent fan option’s and if you go with older gear, the SQ designation on parts are generally quiet.

They’re the only servers I buy for work and home use. I have 9 or 10 of them at home now.
Supermicro makes some solid kit I've using them professionally and at home for decades. They are like the grand-daddy of "white-box" servers and workstations. You can mix and match components with Supermirco like x motherboard in y chassis whereas you can't do that with Dell and HP.
Running more than 30 SuperMicro servers in our DC cabinets. 100% rock solid for > 15 years. Much less expensive than Dell or other brand name servers, just as good or better performance, and support industry standards. Highly recommend.
