Reply: Having played both with and without motion controls, I don’t think the game intrinsically _needs_ them. Sweeping the cursor around to collect star bits all the time is sort of busywork; it feels good to collect them, but there’s largely few negative consequences for missing them. And having the spin mapped to a button is a huge quality of life improvement.
