Pros
- My two HDR test games are Ori and the blind forest definitive edition, and Stray. Stray is great because you can pan the camera around.
- I loved this game. My only wish is at the end I want to go back and explore in an open world type setting and catch up with everyone you spoke too.
- Overall, I really recommend this game, despite the occasional frustrations. It is absolutely charming and has a wonderful atmosphere. Play it if you get a chance. It’s thirty bucks full price, though, which I think is high given how much...
- I loved this game. It's not super ambitious, challenging or deep, but it has a ton of character and a unique world (and protagonist) that enhances the experience a lot. It's a very cosy game, and sometimes that's exactly what you want.
- I’m sure this is a must-play game for cat-lovers. Nothing really stood out to me, but I wasn’t falsely advertised about its contents either. (8/10)
Cons
- I loved Stray but yeah some of those enemy chase sequences were pain in the ass.
- I strongly dislike the enemy encounters, simply because I feel like it is a cozy game. I want to play it over and over again to relax, but the thought of having to deal with the enemies again makes me not want to replay.
- We picked it up for Xbox (disc), beat it and returned it. Didn't really see what all the fuss was about.
- I tried Stray a couple of years ago and really wanted to like it. On paper I should love it. I love cats, I love Cyberpunk, I liked the visual style and I enjoyed the narrative. ... But the gameplay bothered me too much. Or more to the...
- I liked it but the end felt rushed, like they ran out of money. Also, bonus points if they include a character creator. Had a modder make a model of my cat, which increased my enjoyment by 50%.

But the gameplay bothered me too much. Or more to the point, the absence of anything I'd consider actual gameplay. It seemed like there was nothing more to it than pressing whatever buttons the game shows you when it shows them.

I… uhh… don’t think I liked this game? It felt very on rails and cinematic. ... I thought the fact we get a translator and can talk with the robots is an absolute baffling game decision. ... It isn’t as fun as I thought it would be to control a cat, mostly because moving and jumping feels so incredibly automated with button prompts ... It’s INCREDIBLY stiff. Puzzles are basic too. I guess the saving grace is the amazing graphics?? Overall score: 39/100.
It's a fun game with a very cool concept, but I also kinda expected a bit more from it. The graphics are phenomenal(especially lights and reflections), and the cat itself is cute and flows nice to control. ... But the whole experience felt too streamlined, despite the areas feeling like an open world there is nothing to do other than go straight to the main objective
