Still Austin

If I were on the clock I’d probably recommend... Still Austin (slightly above your price range). Both are technically spirits direct items so the employees will push them but they’re also solid reputable independent brands

I never trust any of those to be good outside of some stuff from Still Austin.

Still Austin is definitely a great bourbon, but it's what I consider the most Kentucky-tasting Texas whiskey on the market (which is why most people find it appealing...)

We (my family) are not big fans of balcones or garrison brothers and love Still Austin

I haven't met a bottle of Still Austin that I haven't liked yet, and their Rye and bottled in bond series are definitely standouts in their line-up...

I like Still Austin. Try the musician, or cask strength if you like the spicier stuff.
