Stellaris

Pros

• Even with all expansions enabled I found it quite easy to learn. The game does a good job of teaching you the systems.
• Its amazing, but you should watch a few YouTube beginners guides because its incredibly complex and deep. I can tell this is one I'll be enjoying for a long time.
• Stellaris has a functional and effective console UI, and is a ton of fun on Playstation. If you've been thinking of checking it out, but have been offput by the idea of playing these big Paradoxy games with controller, it's very fluid.
• It’s my favourite game 🤭
• Most strategy games(Civilization 5, Stellaris, EUIV), and most non strategy games if you have a mouse with side buttons and rebind WASD to said side buttons.

Cons

• Stellaris (a paradox game) has 'only' 32 dlc's.
• It has some issues with memory leak, long game sessions over 3 to 4 hours will cause the visuals to go black, cause and sometimes crash the game but it's definitely an upgrade to ps4, still chugs slightly at late game
• I’ve tried three times now but it just feels like too much of a learning curve.
• Games like Stellaris basically gave up and effectively told the community "it's a storyline simulator, not a competitive game, so relax."
• my god would I prefer a decent Dawn of War 4, with a massive HOI4/Stellaris map.
