Steam Frame

Pros

• I'm excited to have a wireless vr experience on steam!
• Im more excited for the steam frame. It's like thr Occulus Quest but better and not enshitified by Meta/Facebook.
• Indeed! I was waiting for VR tech to advance beyond needing cables, and be able to connect to Steam, so I might actually have to get this. Then I can finally play HL Alyx!

• Holy shit, THIS is what I was waiting for, wired and wireless PC VR without Facebook.

Cons

• After seeing the Steam Frame run a snapdragon 8 gen 3, and the announcement of Android support on Steam, this would make the most logical sense in not only better performance, but also efficiency.
• Not a good HMD for PCVR simmers, which has been hinted towards for months now.
• Looks good. Though LCD screens and FOV doesnt look like anything super impressive. Seems like a quest. But a quest will full access to steam and easy streaming. That looks good.
• It's a Steam Meta Quest more than it is an Index 2.
