Pros
- After that, go to Zermatt to see the Matterhorn (park in Täsch), then drive scenic mountain passes like Furka or Grimsel on your way toward St. Moritz or the Engadin region.
- Next winter (skiing focus): Geneva → Chamonix (maybe) → Zermatt → Glacier Express → St. Moritz → Zurich
- We started in Zurich for a quick bit of city life, then headed up to St. Moritz to catch the Glacier Express. ... If anyone is planning this route, I highly recommend, views are unmatched.
Cons
- The only vaguely sensible option would be to stay in St Moritz or around there. Even then you are doing 2 long days of travel for the sake of a single day to actually hike etc.
- Personally I'm not a massive fan of St Moritz, but it depends what you are after, assuming the weather is good I would stop off in places like Diavolezza and go for a ride on the cable car (closes for the season 3rd May - https://www.cor...
- I've only been to St Moritz but I think generally France and Italy offer better and cheaper skiing as well as many other activities

Personally I'm not a massive fan of St Moritz, but it depends what you are after, assuming the weather is good I would stop off in places like Diavolezza and go for a ride on the cable car (closes for the season 3rd May - https://www.corvatsch-diavolezza.ch/en/news-1/operating-hours). Or at Alp Grüm and just go for a walk down to the lake.
