Pros

• And about that 14K, I would buy spy or something similar in the brokerage account
• Spy was soooooo funny. I highly recommend.
• There’s lots of funds that are sameish, so choose the one with the lowest fees. I personally use mostly SPY & VTI
• He’s even fucking hilarious in Spy.
• it’s outperformed SPY on a 5 and 20 year perspective

Cons

• VOO = 0.3% expense ratio. SPY = 0.9% expense ratio. SPY only if you are actively trading it and benefit from the volume, otherwise you are throwing money away in expenses for the exact same allocation.
• Remaining $13K towards a brokerage account? Maybe just VOO or SPY?
• None of the morgan stanley funds are in bonds (VOO, SPY, QQQ, IJH, DIA, USMV, IJR). I honestly have no idea what her guy at morgan stanley is doing and why shes in so many different funds other than it benefiting them.
• SPY is 3x the expense ratio as VOO but you can do options trading on SPY. For $10,000 invested VOO costs $3 and SPY costs $9.45. ... If you’re simply buying stocks buy VOO instead of SPY.
