Spiderlight

Spiderlight is brilliant. It made me think more, but that's true of most of Adrian's books. If I could only read one it'd be Spiderlight, it felt more complete to me.

“Spiderlight” really showed how flawed the world is and the characters were on a much deeper level, and I actually found the book funnier than the devils as it picked its moments much better

I just finished *Spiderlight* on audiobook. Tchaikovsky is the narrator, and he is superb.

Adrian Tchaikovsky has a pretty hefty library of really good and short stand alone, and his prose often make even the ones on heavy subject not too depressing. Spiderlight is my personal favourite.

I love this one, I've reread it several times. The pompous wizard has some amazing lines, the worldbuilding is quite deft, it's hilariously written but still has some serious philosophical questions underpinning it.

It’s hilarious and overlooked

I loved this one so much.

In my opinion the best of Tchaikovsky's stand alones and one of is most underraprecieated work. Also very fun, as per usual with Tchaikovky's inventive prose.

I just want to throw out a fresh recommendation for this book. It was so great! Reasons? * It is full of spiders! * It is full of a adventure! * It centers on a band of heroes that includes a wizard, a thief, a priestess, a warrior, and a "beast"... including both religious fanatics and skeptics. * It is funny! * It is stand-alone and satisfying.
