Spectrum

Pros
- switched from Verizon ($80/mo) to my ISP, Spectrum, for a $0 promotional period, then $30/mo after.
- Spectrum has been a rock for me for many years.
- I can literally change my routers DNS to use Specturms DNS even through I'm on Frontier... its all public DNS.
- It works better if you own your own equipment. This was why I stuck with spectrum for a while.
Cons
- Aside - I HATE spectrum.
- Our building has an internet package with Spectrum, which gives us the option to upgrade our speed to up to 1 Gbps.
- and while I can get Spectrum, have 5G for upload alone (with a VPN for a public IP).
- Given it's spectrum... You're getting a high five from me. F those guys.
- Spectrum said a week + for us to get the phone back.

The only disservice I'm seeing is hooking that stuff up to spectrum 🤮

I've had spectrum for a long time and there was nobody else even close to the speed they offer. I've been having a lot of issues with ping drops lately and they just shrug and say it must be my hardware
I currently have Spectrum 400 Mbps service. It’s okay. Goes down every couple of months for half a day but I suspect every company would be the same in that aspect.
