To this day the Sony Z1R is still on my dream headphone list. From all the polarizing reviews through the years they actually sound like a set I would absolutely love.

I actually love the Z1R for classical. The bass response fills out the orchestral sound in the way that attending live performances feel to me.

I listened to Sony. For some reason they are strange to me. I tried to understand them, I had them 3 times. I just think I should listen to them on other cables and not on the bundled ones, then I would understand them better.
