Pros

  • That said, I really like the down incline function. Being able to log several miles going down is a huge benefit for my training.
  • It’s a workhorse of a treadmill. The heartrate monitoring and apps are not why I bought it. It would be cool if the apps were more robust, but watching stuff on Hulu, YouTube etc works well enough for my wife. That’s not the focus of the...

Cons

  • Control board had to be replaced and now I’ve got an E1 error when trying to calibrate which I desperately want to because it is comically off.
  • I have the version of the F85 before it came with the fancy screen. I work the hell out of it in the winter. It's been super reliable. That being said, I'm not a big fan of the programs.
  • Sturdy sure. But when you combine all that's completely wrong it's very annoying: 1. Can't interract with anything without my feet hitting the front 2. Totally useless 16" screen (tablet to be fair, it's not even a dedicated screen) 3. N...
  • Placing anything above the screen is already too high for me personally (and I’m tall compared to others in the household). That’s the main problem, there is this enormous screen right in my face and it’s absolutely useless.
  • I feel you on the screen. It could be so much better. I’d like to say that I had similar experience to others that it’s a work horse, but I’m already 2 warranty calls in after only a year and the support system is very slow.

It’s a workhorse of a treadmill. The heartrate monitoring and apps are not why I bought it. It would be cool if the apps were more robust, but watching stuff on Hulu, YouTube etc works well enough for my wife. That’s not the focus of the machine, which is a sturdy treadmill that doesn’t flex, feels good and keeps up.

I have over 2500 miles on mine. Yes garbage apps and stuff , but reliable and doesn’t flex like a lot of treadmills.

Manually measuring the HR is bad, they might as well not even include this on the handrail, it's laughable - it shows some wild HR figure.

F85 body feels sturdy but that's all it has. Takes ages to get started, even from stand-by, takes like over half a minute just to load. Everything software related is inconsistent AF.
