Solaris

Pros

• Solaris is like a psychological sci-fi.
• Solaris (honestly either version. Yes the original Tarkovsky is better but I also shamelessly like the Hollywood remake)
• or parts of Solaris: the idea that something alien knows you better than you know yourself and uses that.
• Ursula Le Guin also references the novel *Solaris* by the Polish writer Stanislaw Lem in her foreword to *Roadside Picnic* - apparently that has similar philosophical underpinnings so I want to check that out too.
• Solaris/Солярис (1972) - Andrei Tarkovsky film based on a Stanislaw Lem novel. It follows a psychologist who goes to a space station to find out why people are going mad there.

Cons

• Since you asked, it looks like an obvious copy of existing products . No offense. But this is nothing new. If you're into building you're own that's great. I love stuff like that. But you can buy something like this off the shelf na...
• It might be for someone but honestly not for me
• 2m wingspan and 10kg payload sounds ambitious.
• I looked over at my Sun T5220 and was thinking "Is there any other choice than Solaris?" but that's not what you're talking about!
• Solaris by Stanisław Lem isn't exactly like souls floating around in space for eternity, but it is about a planet creating souls of loved ones of those onboard a spaceship in its orbit.
