Sol de Janeiro

Pros

• The girls love sol de janerio from Sephora. They have body spray and lotions very popular.
• Sol de janiero is everything to them. They make keychains for their lotion, and spritz themselves with it every time I call for a water break. You can’t go wrong with SDJ
• honestly sol de janeiro is a perfect gift. it’s trendy and definitely fits that age range, although a lot of their scents have a gourmand/vanilla scent to them.
• Sole de janeiro is very popular with her age group.
• Parent context: Have you considered the sol line just cause she uses so much? Or maybe ouai? I love that stuff… Reply: I second this! Sol de Janeiro is borderline designed to be able to shower in it and not be overpowering.

Cons

• the younger generation uses a lot of body mists, like from sol de janerio or vanilla skin by phlur, and similarly, kayali is wildly popular.
• Most of the SDJ scents are gourmand, have vanilla, or smell like they do at least. I don’t think those would be a good pick for her
• SDJ scents lean super gourmand and vanilla so I don’t think they’re the best option for her.
• It’s extremely sweet to my nose and make me slightly nauseous.
• In Australia the sol sprays are like $80🤦🏻‍♀️
