Pros

  • The PowerPint is just as capable for my needs and is a great pocket carry.
  • Done with the Christmas season, and this year I decided to upgrade my EDC as a gift to myself. ... SOG Powerpint
  • SOG Powerpint is worth a look.
  • I would argue that for the smaller range of multi tools you aren’t going to ding pliers to beat the PowerPoints. Sure the toolset on it isn’t amazing but having compound leverage with pliers and ability to hold standard quarter inch bit...
  • I love that sog multitool It’s actually small enough where I can carry a daily without taking up any bulk

Cons

  • I keep a SOG PowerPint, a Bic lighter, a SIM ejector, a Lumintop Tool AAA, and a few cards/cash.
  • As far as smaller pliers based multitools the SOG PowerPoint is a good option but they never felt as quality as my other tools.
  • i currently carry a sog PowerPint in stone wash but after just 2 weeks it has started rusting.
  • - SOG Powerpint
  • The SOG Powerpint is small, and has pliers, but the blade is only a liner lock for right handed users.

Parent context: Haven't had to use for anything huge. But for small tasks like breaking hangers, and wire stripping, and all those lighter tasks. It's been pretty great. Only gripe I have is if u need the pliers for anything big you'll have to get a pretty weird grip on it and the bit drivers not very deep. Everything else works great for my needs considering it's size. Reply: Haven't had to use for anything huge.
