Snap-on

Pros

• I’ve tried matco, which are a rebrand of something (can’t remember), snap on, vessel, etc. The grip on these is incredible. Best I’ve ever used
• That Snap-on alone is worth the trip
• on a scale of 1-10 with 1 being a total rust pile and 10 being a garage full of brand new Festool & Snap-On tools, this is about a 3.
• Absolute score!!! Great find!!! Now, that is a price I am willing to pay for Snapon.
• Nah they don't care, there is a reason they can do that. This policy is literally something they advertise to get mechanics to buy their tools.

Cons

• You can get quality tools cheaper than Snap-on, Matco, whatever fancy brand's price tiers.
• Snap-On is a financing company attached to a company that makes pretty good tools.
• Snap-on figured out dudes who would never buy jewelry will happily spend $400 on something shiny as long as you stamp PROFESSIONAL on it and sell it off a truck. Then they started dropping new colors like fucking Stanley cups and these...
• And Snap-On provides financing. 😄
• You aren't paying for the tool, you're paying for a truck to drive to your job constantly and provide service, sales, and warranty replacements. A normal person wrenching at home would be a fool to buy them
