Smith Optics

Pros

• Eg having a Smith set means the vents all line up perfectly and you’ll never deal with fogging up.
• Smith are still the best. If you can afford them, do it.
• I'd say Smith has marginally better optics, but not a big enough improvement to be worth paying twice as much.
• Smith has a photochromic lens that goes from clear to dark gray, and I have never notied a transition delay.
• Smith generally fits my long-oval head pretty well, so that's probably not where you want to look.

Cons

• Have also has pretty great results with 100 Percent and Smith in the past couple seasons, although I found smith's low light lenses to be a just a little lacking
• I can barely fit a Smith, having worn MTB and BMX models.
• All of them are so curved there’s a gap on my forehead/nose (Oakley, Smith, 100%).
• Smith used to be the pinnacle of customer service when I was in the industry. Now it's like pulling teeth trying to contact them for anything warranty / customer service related.
