• Yeah, I was just about to come back and recommend the MK Blast II because it's rated for a larger space and the OP can run it on a lower setting for less noise.

• Apparently Smart Air Blast MKII is the king of filtration at low decibels. I’ve been rolling around on this sub extensively and this seems to be the best of the best.

Cons

• The Smart Air Blast MKII is primarily engineered for particulates capture. Its activated carbon filter is low weight for longer-term removal or high concentrations of VOCs.
• As for the activated carbon filter, even expensive & quiet particulates-focused air purifiers usually have too little by weight, such as the Coway Airmega ProX or the Smart Air Blast MKII.
• Smart Air Blast MKII * Composite CADR: 559 CFM * Notes: Very quiet but very expensive. Not tested to the AHAM AC-1-2020 standard but rather a Chinese standard, so there are no Pollen or Smoke CADRs as such.
• Examples would be the Coway Airmega ProX or the Smart Air Blast MKII.
• The IQAir HealthPro Plus, IQ Air GC MultiGas XE, IQAir Atem X, and the Smart Air Blast MKII do *not* have enough activated carbon/other sorbent media for high and/or prolonged concentrations of gases, vapors, or odors.
