Pros

  • The sivga luan has better mid bass, better upper mids and sharper upper treble, better soundstage also. Both are very comfortable and light, very easy to use them for hours
  • But the Luan is no slouch either and miles better than many closed backs for fps gaming.
  • The Sivga Luan might be another option due to it having more bass. Both are very comfortable, have great sound, and have a wider soundstage than the HD560S
  • The Luan and AR5000 do exactly that. The AR5000 however is my preferred choice. I find footsteps just a little bit easier than the Luan but again the Luan is no slouch. I'm just a competitive gamer who plays ranked and need every little...
  • The Luan are slightly warmer than the AR5000 but both have similar soundstage and have fantastic imaging. Also not sure why Sivga as a brand is not talked about more? They make good looking headphones with great build quality and sound f...

Cons

  • Also the drivers in the sivga luan can rattle if you push the sub bass a bit too much.
  • To add on this Sivga luan pads are not oval, they are round, meaning that you ears will likely touch the interior of the pad which can be annoying. Aside from that, as they say, the sivga luan pads are like pillows so on that aspect they...
  • Parent context: Sivga luan I feel is too much like the edition xs in the treble to differentiate Reply: I think the Luan are much warmer and softer in the bass region. Treble is quite close, yes, but I feel the Luan have peak in the uppe...
  • Sivga Luan - Another pair with a vocal focus, although bass is considered a bit worse than the AR5000.
  • It is a very comfy headphone, sound is good but I prefer AR5000 just a little better in both sound and comfort. Another thing to mention is that I do have small ears and the inner sides of the earpads are a bit too short for my liking. ....

To add on this Sivga luan pads are not oval, they are round, meaning that you ears will likely touch the interior of the pad which can be annoying. Aside from that, as they say, the sivga luan pads are like pillows so on that aspect they are squishy and comfortable. ... Soundwise id say the sivga luan wins in soundstage while the meze wins in imaging, tunning wise, the bass it pretty similar on both but I feel like due to the pads, the bass on the sivga feels less impactful compared to the meze. On the midrange, the luan wins, the upper midrange its excellent in my opinion, it really highlights female vocals , it makes them sound like whispers in your ear. Treble is where this headphones differ the most, the meze 105 has a more laid back treble, more easy to enjoy while the sivga luan is very peaky especially in the upper treble to the point it can come off as sibilant

Parent context: Sivga luan I feel is too much like the edition xs in the treble to differentiate Reply: I think the Luan are much warmer and softer in the bass region. Treble is quite close, yes, but I feel the Luan have peak in the upper treble compared to the Edition XS's mid treble, or presence region. But for comfort, the Luan are just awesome. Those pads are really comfy, even if you're wearing glasses.

I'm just a competitive gamer who plays ranked and need every little advantage I can get lol The Luan is my preferred choice over the AR5000 if I were to switch to single player game.
