Pros
- All Bill Lawrences recent shows have been gold. Ted Lasso, Shrinking and Bad Monkey were all fantastic.
- I really liked Shrinking and the comedic parts of Nurse Jackie, but also like intrigue and drama, stuff that makes you go "oh shit!" and look forward to the next episode. More wholesome-ish shows like Shrinking would be great.
- Pay for a month because you also get slow horses, shrinking, Ted lasso, murderbot, for all mankind, dark matter, silo, bad monkey, and those are just the ones I’ve seen and recommend.

Parent context: I loved season 1, but I couldn't stand the characters in season 2. The worst has to be Sean convincing Gaby's sister to join the military. For a man riddled with PTSD, it made no sense that he would do it or that nobody would bring up that it's weird, but the season was filled with poorly written character choices like that to service the plot. Reply: Yeah, I loved S1 and liked S2 - but all the show's characters' ability to speak honestly and openly about their emotions and actions and flaws simultaneously make the show interesting and completely fake. :) I have a couple renowned therapists in my family, and none of us speak honestly or openly about any of that stuff. One area where I felt S2 fell short was that in S1 all the situations felt real and we were invested. In S2, it started to feel like they were forcing mini-situations so they could have a mini-arc by the next episode. Still, one of the most amazing casts and writers, and I'll happily watch S3.

Shrinking - I was hooked after awhile. Honestly a surprisingly fun watch. I laughed a lot. ... Jason Seagal and Harrison ford mesh well. Felt like I was apart of this chaotic but fun family.
Ted Lasso and Shrinking are two amazing, positive shows that still show heartache and truly difficult to overcome struggles.
Also The Pitt. Shrinking.
Have you watched Shrinking?? Same emotionally intelligent vibe as Ted lasso
