Pros

• SLs just feel better on a road bike. I resisted for ages and my feet paid the price. The larger platform on a SPD-SL is fantastic for roady/zwift stuff.
• SPD-SL is superior for the road, full stop.
• SPD-SL is much more comfortable than SPD. I get the advantages to SPD: easier to walk and…actually I can’t think of another advantage to SPD.
• YES!! The SPD-SLs are, and will make you feel, much more connected to the bike.

Cons

• I ordered 4 14tb recert drives from them for my new server last month. Two are fine but the other two wasn't able to read smart data or perform smart tests. Currently being sent back to them. Kinda disappointed first time
• The SLs seem so finicky, and I hated being down for 8 weeks each time.
• I certainly don't feel the need to switch to SPD-SL, they do the job of being clipless well enough.
• Any cleat that is SPD-SL compatible will work with those.
• Overall this was my first experience with them, and it's been a huge let down, I basically have to return/refund all of the drives and go shopping again. So buyer beware if you're outside the US, you may end up with a lot of dead drives...
