Coming from someone who did not read either books series, both are worth the watch. I love sci-fi fantasy and these were both high on my list of shows I really enjoyed. I’d put Shadow and Bone a bit above so if you want a recommendation on which to start first, that would be my pick.
Season 1 of Shadow and Bone was really good. S2 was rushed because it seems like they knew they’d get cancelled. It has an ending though, at least.
I rather enjoyed Season 1 of Shadow and Bone.
