Serengeti National Park

Pros

• The Serengeti was also incredibly green because of the rains, which made the whole landscape feel very alive.
• OP Tanzania is one of the best places to do a safari. Between Ngorongoro and the Serengeti you should see lots of wildlife.
• Start in Nairobi and hit Sheldrick, then Masai, Serengeti, Ngorongoro. Amboseli, Nakuru, Samburi - all great. Tarangire is a new fave, the baobabs there are awesome.
• The northern circuit (Serengeti, Ngorongoro, Tarangire) handles rain better than some southern parks. The Serengeti in particular is massive enough that you can find good game viewing year-round.
• Serengeti is usually fine (the herds are often in the southern plains for calving season, incredible to see)

Cons

• speaking of serengeti, you are completely missing the concession fees in your math. if you sleep inside the park you have to pay a nightly fee per person, which adds up fast.
