It’s an awful lot of time in Busan and Seoul imo, it’s around 6-7 days for Seoul alone. I love Seoul, don’t get me wrong, but that seems extremely overdone. I personally can’t recommend it. You asked for feedback so just saying, I don’t think that’s time well-spent.

I reread OP'post again and yeah, Seoul is probably a better choice in this case.
Seoul is probably one of the best in Asia for partying and drinking, but the city is less of what you are looking for compared to Shanghai.
Seoul and Tokyo are both amazing cities, but honestly they're pretty similar vibes. I mean big, modern, urban.
If you do go to Korea, be sure to get out of Seoul. It's a great city to visit, but it's relatively expensive and there's so much more to Korea than Seoul.
Seoul and Jeju feel like total opposites, so I can see how going back and forth would keep things fresh instead of tiring.
It's a very safe place with lots of great food, so in those ways it's not a bad place for what I assume may be your first solo trip.
