Sennheiser IE 900

Pros
- The small holes in the mesh on the nozzle looks similar to the one in the real one. I'm not sure if the "IE 900" is engraved or not from the pictures (which would explain why it looks different under different lighting, same as the logo)...
- Went to visit to check it out. Assessing it and cross referencing the real vs fake guide and of course listening to them (heard it recently at a headphone store) it turned out to be real. So I purchased it
Cons
- Of course they’re fake. However, seeing as the IE200/600/900 shell is one of the most comfy shells there are, honestly these clones aren’t a bad deal. They usually follow Harman with heavy subbass. Buy at your own risk though.
- I agree. Would definitely buy from a reputable dealer but sometimes the risk to get it cheaper (this case 60% off retail) can pay off. But yes a risk is a risk
- I’m thinking you may be right looking at the guide of real vs fake. But obviously will have a chance to inspect it in person. The lighting seems to play big tricks on this iem
- I questioned that too but he said it was the lighting then sent another photo with the darker black Writing which looked etched into the body (which is what the real one should have and not painted on)
- Fake I have the IE 900 which I bought from Moon Audio couldn’t take a chance buying elsewhere.
