About a year ago I bought a Sebo X7 based on advice from this sub, which has been great in the house.
Alternatives include the sebo x7, simpler and more robust design with a larger bag but definitely less maneuverable and not as good on hard floors.
Out of the vacuums I have owned, some of them being Miele canisters with the power nozzle, Sebo X7 upright, and Kirby upright this one has been my favorite
If you'd rather have an upright, then a Sebo Felix, Sebo X7, Lindhaus Healthcare Pro or Lindhaus Diamante might be worth a look.

I could recommend a sebo x7 then,I have one and they're quite good
the listing was actually real and the lady selling it just wanted to get rid of it and prefers her cordless dyson. the cord will eventually need to be replaced but it works great. this might be my best facebook marketplace find ever
