I use a X4 and and a X7 and love them.
Had one for 20 years or so and then bought a Sebo X4. The Sebo was more expensive and much better.

Two problems with the auto height adjuster. One, it can get confused going from hard floors to rugs or vice versa. Sometime if you go from hard floors to a dense rug, the brush roll sensor misinterprets the extra drag of the carpet as a jam and shuts the vacuum off. The second problem is that you cannot over ride the auto height adjuster.
