The fact that I had a Miele Capricorn that I recently retired in favor of the SEBO D4 Premium, I would say that model Miele isn’t worth it.
As someone that just got a Sebo D4 Premium to replace a Kenmore 800 series, I would say go with Meile or even consider Sebo. ... The Sebo is about the same weight as the Kenmore at 26lbs but it feels so much lighter when pulling it around on the 4 caster wheels. ... After 2 years I finally got tired of dealing with the Kenmore and got me a Sebo D4 Premium today. Dang it was a night and day difference IMO. Even though this is the biggest canister they offer, it’s still lighter and way more maneuverable than the Kenmore.

I got the D4 premium model. It’s my first canister vacuum and honestly i don’t think I’ll ever go back to an upright. The only “downside” I have so far w mine is that it doesn’t store away as easy as an upright.

I just picked up a Sebo D4 Premium. If you have the budget I'd highly recommend this vacuum, I'm incredibly impressed and blown away by the quality, power, versatility and overall effectiveness. It's on the higher end price-wise but it has a 10 year warranty, a very large 6L bag which is one of the largest on the market
Yes the E3 and D4 Premium are fantastic, and I personally own a D4 Premium, but is a D4 premium really better than a Sebo Felix.... not really.
In the the lowest priced D, the D1 Turbo ( non-electric hose, turbo brush only ) lists for $849 and the D4 Premium, the only other flavor of the D sold in the US, with electric hose and ET-1 lists for $1,399
