Parent context: Is this a YA series like Harry Potter or more geared towards adults? Reply: The main characters are basically wizard high school students so there's an element of YA flavor in there but overall it's much more geared towards adult readers than Harry Potter is.
All-timer for me -- top 6 or 8. Checks so many boxes, and is the rare fantasy series that actually has something to say as well. Just top notch stuff.
